A talented country music singer-songwriter living in Naas is set to make waves in 2018 with the release of her debut EP in time for Valentine's Day which will feature some romantic songs, and which follows a busy year performing on stage with well-known Irish musical acts such as Mundy and Paddy Casey.

Sina Theil, 28,  is originally from Germany but has been living in Naas for the past couple of months and is currently working on her debut solo EP which is due to be released next month.

Speaking to KildareNow ahead of the release of her debut solo EP, Sina said that she is very excited about her debut solo album as she and her team have put a lot of hard work into it over the past couple of months. She said: "I've had a great love for music since I was very young, when I was 7 years old my parents bought me a piano and I learned to play it. I've always been interested in music and when I was 18, I picked up a guitar and started playing that too. My idols would be Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, and a new artist I've been listening to recently is Brandi Calile and some other artists that not everyone would know about, basically the queens of country-rock."

Sina's journey to break into the music industry began when she left her native Germany for Spain where she formed her first band and recorded her first demos. and she would later relocate to Dublin to pave her career on the music scene and she became a student of BIMM, which is Europe's largest and most popular music college. Sina gained experience busking around Dublin and performing as the front woman of two different rock bands before signing to Downda Productions in early 2017 and she sis currently living in Naas since last May.

Sina's manager, Michael Gleeson, met her in Dublin over a year ago and signed her to Downda Road Productions. He told  KildareNow: "She's really flourished in the time I've known her, she's done really well in the Irish charts she's had two #1 singles in the Irish charts and her #2 at the moment is her song "Shut Up and Kiss Me" which is a really catchy tune."

Michael explained that Sina's debut EP will feature her trademark country songs with a couple of romantic songs in the works as well. "Sina's debut EP will be coming out in time for Valentine's Day, and it'll have a couple of more romantic songs too. We're hopeful that it'll do well."

Over the past year, Sina has been gigging extensively all around the country; and she is next to perform in Sligo’s Yeats County Inn on January 6 followed by a gig at Spell’s Bar, Ballaghaderreen on January 12 and Clock Tavern in Westport on January 13, 2018. She supported Irish music legends Mundy and Paddy Casey on a few occasions, she also appears alongside these Irish household names (amongst others including The 4 Of Us, The Devlins, The Blades, Gavin Glass and more) on the charity album ‘The Positive Touch’ that was released July 2017.

It look's like 2018 will be a promising year for Sina and her debut solo EP will be released everywhere for Valentine's Day 2018.
