UPDATE: Man in suspected Kildare town drug haul case is sent forward for trial

ALLEGED
A suspected Kildare town drug haul case involving a man has been sent forward for trial.
Back in March, the court was told that Stephen Mulpeter, with an address given as 6 Coolaghknock Close, The Plains in Kildare town, was suspected of being in possession of around €30,000 worth of drugs at his home, on March 3 last.
On this date, Judge Desmond Zaidan was told that gardaí discovered the suspected haul at the 23-year-old's home, on the foot of a search warrant.
Gardaí alleged that the suspected haul was made up of a mix of cocaine, cannabis and ketamine.
On the latest date (Thursday, July 7), after a book of evidence was furnished by gardaí in relation to the case, Judge Zaidan sent Mr Mulpeter forward for trial at the present sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which commenced on June 20.
