Vote to pick Kildare GAA's Pride of the Parish

We are handing the mic over to you, our readers, to decide who truly embodies the Pride of the Parish. Over the last number of weeks across the pages of The Leinster Leader and online at KildareNow.ie and KildareLive.ie, we have featured a number of nominees vying for the title of the Pride of the Parish in Co. Kildare for 2026.

This special award is all about celebrating the unsung heroes of Kildare’s GAA, Camogie, and LGFA clubs. From the pitch markers and kit washers to the youth coaches, tea-makers, and tireless volunteers, these are the people who give their hearts to our sporting communities without asking for a single word of thanks.

Only one exceptional legend will walk away with the ultimate title—and the final verdict is entirely down to your vote!

Voting opens on October 20 and closes on October 29 here online on KildareNow.ie and KildareLive.ie.

We are calling on players, supporters, and families across every parish, town, and village in Kildare to make your voice heard. Take a look through our shortlist of selfless nominees below, read their stories on our webpages, and cast your vote to help decide our champion.
