Woman was threatened with death if she didn't sign divorce document - Kildare court claim

She also alleged she had been hit multiple times
A woman alleged at a Naas District Court sitting that her partner “threatened to kill me” if she did not sign a divorce document.
The woman sought protection under family law legislation and told Judge Desmond Zaidan that she wanted to protect her rights.
She said the man, who was not present or represented, wanted her to sign.
She also said she has children and the man had hit her multiple times in the past.
“I’m afraid of him; I’m worried he will hurt me again,” she claimed.
Judge Zaidan granted her an interim protection order and adjourned the case to July 27.
