Woman's son made a threat to burn down her house
A man made a threat to burn down his mother’s house, it was stated at Naas District Court.
Sgt Mary Meade said the incident took place in Caragh Road, Naas, area on July 12, 2023 and there was a threat to kill.
The man, aged in his mid20s, has 16 previous convictions including seven for breaches of the Public Order Act.
He was prosecuted for being intoxicated and making a threat.
The court was also told he attempted to run from the gardaí
The court heard that he was under the influence at the time.
Judge Desmond Zaidan imposed a €700 fine.
