Accused of using fake €50 note in Portlaoise

A man appeared in court accused of using a fake €50 note in Portlaoise.
John O’Shea, 32, of 6 Slieve Bloom Heights, Rathdowney is alleged to have passed a counterfeit €50 at the Carry Out, Mountmellick Road, Portlaoise on October 11 last.
Judge Cephas Power adjourned the case to Portlaoise District Court on March 4.
