All-Ireland semi-final fixture details revealed for Laois and Leinster Camogie champions St Brigid's
They'll face the Munster and reigning All-Ireland champions
St Brigid’s, the Laois and Leinster Camogie champions for 2024, are set for a pivotal clash against Clanmaurice of Kerry in the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship semi-final.
St Brigid’s earned their spot in this All-Ireland showdown following a dominant campaign that saw them crowned Laois champions after a decisive victory over Camross. They carried that momentum into the Leinster Championship, defeating Myshall of Carlow, Na Fianna of Meath, and, most recently, Naas of Kildare to clinch the provincial title.
Their upcoming opponents, Clanmaurice, are no strangers to high-stakes matches, representing Kerry in what promises to be a fiercely competitive semi-final. Clanmaurice are the current All-Ireland champions having defeated Meath's Na Fianna in the 2023 final. They recently won their third Munster Intermediate Club Championship in a row when they got the better of Cork's Ballinora.
The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Galtee Rovers GAA grounds in Bansha, County Tipperary. The throw-in is set for 2:00 p.m., with extra time and a result on the day if needed. The referee for the game has yet to be confirmed.
