Daniel O'Donnell sure to feature on 39th edition of Laois community's book

People living in Rathdowney and its hinterland are being urged to once again send in material for the 2023 Rathdowney Review.

Work has commenced on compiling material for the 39th successive edition of the magazine which is expected to be in the shops around the last week of November 2023.

Anyone with photos, articles or information from the general area (within a 10 miles radius of Rathdowney) is invited to submit them to the committee.

Especially welcome are photos and details of weddings, graduations, obituaries, Debs, babies, anniversaries, sporting achievements or any new events from our area.

Sure to get a look in is the visit of Daniel O'Donnell to the town during the summer to cut the ribbon on the community garden.

Anyone who wants to have something published is asked to send or email items to [email protected] or speak to Maureen at 087 2035203 or Niall at 087 9212200.

The deadline for articles is Wednesday, October 25. Photos, grads etc that take place after that date may possibly be included if informed in advance that they will be available before we go to print.
