Vanda Rafter - Portlaoise
The death took place on Tuesday, February 7 of Vanda Rafter (née Szwaglis) of 'Ardville' Glenside. Abbeyleix road, Portlaoise.
Unexpectedly at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband David. Also her mother Esther and father in law Martin. Deeply regretted by her children Stefan and Amy, Stefan's partner Jennifer, her father Les, sisters Philomena, and Rita, brothers Les(Jnr), and Clive, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and her aunts Vanda and Christine, sister in law and friend Martina, mother in law Betty Rafter,Her sisters in law and brothers in law, neighbours, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home on Thursday from 6.30pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday to SS Peter and Pauls church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery Portlaoise
Evelyn Martin - Ballacolla
The death took place on Tuesday, February 7 of Evelyn Martin (née Mortimer) of St. Fergal's Park, Ballacolla.

Margaret McEvoy - Coolrain
The death took place on Monday, February 6 of Margaret McEvoy (née O'Neill) of Windsor, Coolrain, and late of Clondalkin, Dublin.
At the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Kieran, mother to Kevin and Cathy. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandson Jordan, brothers, sisters, extended family, relatives and friends.
Removal on Thursday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2.30pm.

Mary McCarthy - Portlaoise
The death took place on Monday, February 6 of Mary McCarthy (née Comerford) of Ballsbridge, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise.
Peacefully, in the care of the Mater Private Hospital and Professor Denise Sadlier, beloved wife of the late Dr. Donal and loving mother of Geraldine, Donal and Elaine. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Dermot and David, daughter-in-law Barbara, her treasured grandchildren, Maeve, Grace, Dermot, Maya, Donal and Patrick, great-grandchildren, Finn and Zoe and their father James, Grace’s fiancé Philip and extended family and friends.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday (9th February) from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (February 10th) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook which may be viewed on the following link, https://donnybrookparish.ie/webcam/, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
