Driving ban for speeding on Laois motorway

A man was disqualified from driving for speeding on the M7 motorway in Laois.
Daniel Gheorghita Lazurca, 29, of 33 Hollystown Demesne, Hollystown, Dublin was detected speeding at Ballyshaneduff on July 14 last.
The court heard the defendant was driving a VW Touareg at 148kmh in 120km zone. The man, who wasn’t present in court, had three previous convictions for speeding.
Judge Andrew Cody fined the man €500 and disqualified him from driving for three months.
