Gardai seize car in Laois

Laois Gardai seized a car after discovering it was displaying discs from another vehicle earlier today.

The car was stopped after being detected by the Garda's Automatic Number Plate Recognition(ANPR) system.

“Laois Roads Policing Unit on patrol outside Portarlington earlier today stopped this vehicle following an ANPR alert for no tax or NCT,” Gardai stated.

“When stopped there were discs from another vehicle displayed in the windscreen. The vehicle was seized and court proceedings have commenced," they said.
