Halloween pub quiz to be hosted by Laois church

A fun table quiz takes place in Laois with a Halloween twist this week.

The Mountmellick Church of Ireland parish is returning its popular annual Halloween quiz night this Friday night, November 1.

There will be prizes for the best male and female costumes.

You don't have to dress up to be in with a chance to win, as there will be prizes for the winning table on the night, as well as a raffle.

The quiz takes place in The Druid Inn starting at 8pm, with local quizmaster Paddy Buggy posing the general knowledge questions.

Table of four is €40, with proceeds in aid of St Paul's Church.
