Have a fun-filled day at Laois summer fete

Summer fun and treats are promised at the annual Abbeyleix Rectory Garden Fete which takes place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Taking place in the Rectory walled garden, people are invitedd to come early and buy home-made cakes, jams and country produce, race ducks, eat a hot dog, win a bottle (or two) on the bottle stall, have a go on the wheel of fortune, browse the book and white elephant stalls and play games (including the many in Kids’ Korner) and much more.
After the fun 'put your feet up and have tea' says Cannon Patrick Harvey.
The Fete is on Bank Holiday Monday, August 7 and gets underway at 2 pm.
"Bring your friends! Thanks to all those far and near who support us regularly," says Cannon Havey.
