'High-flying fun'; Laois Charity Fun Day and Trail Run to host an air show
The day promises "exciting activities, delicious food, and great company," according to event organisers.
A Family Fun Day and Trail Run in aid of charity will take place at Abbeyleix House and Farm on Sunday June 23.
The event will be held in aid of Abbeyleix and District Lions Club, Laois Offaly Families for Autism and the Order of Malta - Ambulance Equipment.
The day promises "exciting activities, delicious food, and great company," according to event organisers.
The Fun Day will run from 11:30am-5pm, with the run beginning at an earlier time of 10:30am. Registration for the run will begin from 9am.
The run consists of a 10km trail through the Ancient Oak Woodlands.
The family day begins at noon, with craft vendors and activities throughout the Stable Yard. There will be train rides and face painters for children, and a spectacular Air Show for the whole family.
All shows, activities, games and sites are included in your ticket price.
Food, snacks, and drinks are available for purchase from specially selected vendors throughout the grounds.
100% of all ticket sales, vendor fees and sales from Abbeyleix House and Farm Kitchen Pantry go directly to charity.

An adult ticket amounts to €20, while tickets for children aged 5-16 are €10. Each adult ticket has the option of two complimentary tickets for children under 5.
You must be over 12 years of age to enter the Trail Run.

Tickets are strictly sold before the event; they will not be available on the day, and only Registered Cars will be admitted.
Parking is complimentary but limited; remember to book your parking space now.
All other access is via courtesy bus from Abbeyleix Town at The Manor Hotel R32VE24 and The South School R32PP79.
The gates open for the family day at 11.30 am. The last entry is at 4 pm. Please note that the event will finish at 5 pm.
