This weekend sees the Laois hurlers return to Croke Park for the first time since 2019 where they took on Tipperary in the All-Ireland quarter-final. They had gotten that far by virtue of winning the Joe McDonagh Cup against Westmeath before famously beating Dublin in the preliminary quarter-final the week after. Laois remain the only Joe McDonagh side to have reached an All-Ireland quarter-final. Offaly provide the opposition for Saturday's final with Laois having already beaten their neighbours in the Joe McDonagh this year. The photos are courtesy of Denis Byrne and Sportsfile.
