Laois band Lost Messiahs to be found in Electric Picnic

A talented Portlaoise band that has released two impressive singles this year is getting huge stagetime at Electric Picnic.
The Lost Messiahs will be found playing to the crowds this year in not one but two performances.
They will play this Friday night, September 1 in the Mindfield Arena, on The Word Stage at 11pm. Then on Sunday they are on the Artlot Stage at 5.45pm.
It is a busy summer for the band who play alternative indie music described as being filled with ethereal guitar and vocal sounds.
They shone on the Forest Fest in Emo in July, while post picnic, fans can catch them in the Dunamaise Arts Centre on Friday September 29.
The Lost Messiahs impressively experienced lineup includes James O’ Connor on vocals / acoustic Guitar, Eamonn Duff on bass, Martha Cummins on drums, Ollie Plunkett on Electric Guitar and Rachael Bonham.
They recently released their fourth single from their third studio album called Connected To The Real.
The latest single, Brownsfield was premiered and given a glowing review by the hugely respected Irish music magazine Hotpress.
“The haunting vocals and resonating guitar riffs captivate the listener as they are taken back to the lively, extraordinary, and imaginary worlds so artfully crafted by juvenile minds,” the reviewer said.
It follows the single Radiance of Moon which was placed on RTE1 Recommends playlist.
Stitched Sound USA described its "interplay of haunting vocals and intricate guitar work“ with O’Connor’s vocals delivering “power and emotion”.
