Ballykilcavan Farm and Brewery have been named as finalists in The Sustainable Business Impact Awards from Chambers Ireland. They are nominated in the Sustainable Impact by a Small Business category.
The awards showcase best practices in sustainable business development and social responsibility undertaken by companies of all sizes across Ireland.
In total, 77 projects have been shortlisted across 14 award categories.
The final winners will be announced in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin on Thursday, September 14. The Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards are sponsored by BAM UK & Ireland and run in association with the Department of Rural and Community Development who support the Social Enterprise category.
Earlier this year Ballykilcavan Brewery won a prestigious award from the National Sustainable Business Awards.
Having been named best small to medium sustainable business last year, Ballykilcavan won the best agri-food project in the National Sustainable Business Awards.
The brewery is based on the family farm of David and Lisa Walsh-Kemmis, just outside Stradbally. The brewery was also nominated as the Laois entry to the National Enterprise Award.
