Laois church to host fancy dress Halloween table quiz

If you love Halloween and are looking for an excuse to dress up this year, there are prizes to be won in Laois for a good cause.

A Halloween pub table quiz for adults is planned in Mountmellick, with prizes for the best costumes.

It will happen on Friday, October 27, in Turley's Pub, with questions posed by local quizmaster Paddy Buggy.

Halloween costumes are optional say the organisers, but participants will get a third chance to win prizes in a big raffle. 

The quiz starts at 8pm, €40 for a table of four. It is a fundraiser hosted by St Paul's Church of Ireland in Mountmellick.
