Laois County Council is distributing a further 5,000 ICE emergency cards

Following the success of the initial batch of ICE Cards, Laois County Council has now received 5,000 more for individuals or groups of older people.

Designed to be carried by the elderly, the In Case of Emergency(ICE) cards are a useful aid to first responders or medical professionals, especially in cases where someone may be non responsive.

The cards also have a number of useful emergency contact numbers printed on the card such as Emergency Services, ESB and Gas Networks.

To receive these cards call Tom in Age Friendly Laois on 057 86 64150 or 086 0363426 or email [email protected]. They are also available from Local Libraries.
