The cost of watching Laois GAA teams playing games in the early season senior hurling and football competitions in Leinster doesn't come cheap.

Clubber TV, which steams the games online, is charging €11.99 per game for all O'Byrne Cup and Walsh Cup games. This means you are paying €1.99 more to stream Laois's clash against Longford this evening than you would be if you bought a ticket for the game itself  which isn't cheap either at €10.

A package deal is also available in which you can access all 29 games for €39.99. The competitions which are largely seen as preseason experimental games for county teams gets underway this evening with five games being held in the O'Byrne Cup.

Billy Sheehan's Laois senior footballers will be hoping to have an equally if not more successful competition than 12 months ago when they reached the final only to be beaten by Dublin. They play Longford on Wednesday night, January 4 in Portarlington.

The Laois senior hurlers will square up to Wexford in the first round Walsh Cup on Sunday, January at St Fintan's Mountrath at 2pm. It's be the first game under new coach Willie Maher from Tipperary.
