37 players have been chosen by manager Kieran Kelly

Laois U-20 football manager Kieran Kelly has confirmed his panel for the 2025 season.

A strong contingent comes from the 2024 U-20 championship-winning side, Stradbally Parish Gaels, with nine players from that team making the cut. Several other standout performers from last year’s competitions have also been included.

While the majority of the squad hails from Laois, there is an interesting addition in Sam Ryan from Sallins, Co. Kildare.

Laois have been drawn in Group 3 of the Leinster Championship and will kick off their campaign at home to Kildare on Wednesday, March 26. They will also host Wexford on Wednesday, April 2 before finishing the group stage away to Carlow on Wednesday, April 9.

To progress, Laois must finish in the top two. A first-place finish would send them straight to the semi-finals, while second place would secure a quarter-final away to the winner of Group 1, which features Dublin, Westmeath, Meath and Offaly.
