Laois Gardaí issue update in relation to missing teenage boy

Gardaí say a teenage boy who went missing at the weekend has been located safe and well. 

Lorcan Meehan (17) had been reported missing having last been seen in Portlaoise at lunchtime on Saturday, May 25.

An appeal was issued for help in tracing his whereabouts on Saturday evening. 

Gardaí confirmed he was located safe and well this morning. They thanked the public for their assistance in locating the boy.
