Laois Minor Hurling panel revealed for 2024 season
Manager Glenn McEvoy has announced his squad of players
New Laois Minor Hurling manager Glenn McEvoy has named his 32-man squad for the upcoming season.
Laois have been drawn in Group 2 of Tier 2 alongside Kildare, Carlow, Kerry, Westmeath and an unconfirmed Ulster side. They begin their campaign on March 23 away to Kildare before a home clash with Carlow a week later.
A trip to Ulster is on the cards for their third game with their final game seeing them host Kerry on April 20. They'll have a bye in Round 5 due to their being five teams in the group. Laois must finish in the Top-2 to get out of the group. A preliminary quarter-final would follow against a fellow Tier 2 side before a much trickier quarter-final against Tier 1 opposition.
