Portlaoise College award the scholarships to two incoming first years
Portlaoise College has announced the recipients of this year's scholarships for two incoming first year students.
The highly competitive scholarships, each worth over €1,100, have been awarded to Sophie Urban from Tobair an Léinn Raheen and Caolan Gilliland from Emo National School. These scholarships recognise outstanding academic achievements and provide significant support as the students transition to secondary education.
Principal Noel Daly and Deputy Principal Mary Marum visited Emo and Raheen national schools to make the presentations. Sophie and Caolan were accompanied by their mothers, Katarzyna and Erin, respectively.
