Justin McNulty has chosen the same starting 15 that started the New York game

Laois and Kildare are set to go into battle this weekend for a place in this year's Tailteann Cup semi-finals.

Laois manager Justin McNulty has named an unchanged side for the game with Evan O'Carroll being named at 11 rather than his usual 14. Niall Dunne will wear the number 14 after he was a late addition to the starting team against New York following an injury to Eoin Lowry.

James Kelly, Ben Dempsey and Eoin Lowry are named to start on the bench which is a big boost to Laois as all three players played major roles in Laois' Division 4 winning campaign this year.

Laois and Kildare haven't met in the Championship since 2017 where Kildare ran out 1-21 to 1-7 winners in Tullamore.
