LIVE BLOG: Laois and Kildare face-off in Tailteann Cup quarter-final

Follow all the action from Tullamore as Justin McNulty's Laois footballers square up against Glen Ryan's Kildare side in the quarter-finals of the Tailteann Cup.

Laois scraped over New York last week in the preliminary quarter-finals with a Mark Timmons goal proving decisive in the end. In the group stages, Laois won a game, lost a game and a draw a game against Wicklow, Fermanagh and Carlow respectively. Kildare come into the game off the back of three wins in the group stages to seal top spot in Group 1. They got the better of Leitrim, Longford and Waterford to ensure they got an extra weeks' rest and go straight through to the quarter-finals.
