LIVE BLOG: Laois hurlers face Offaly in Joe McDonagh Cup final in Croke Park

Follow all the action as Laois and Offaly go to battle in the 2024 Joe McDonagh final in Croke Park for the right to earn themselves a spot in the 2025 Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

The sides met in the opening round of the competition on April 21 where a brace of late goals from Paddy Purcell saw Laois get their campaign off to a great start. Laois went on to win the next three games against Meath, Kerry and Down to seal their place in the final. Their final group game against Westmeath was a dead-rubber as Westmeath claimed the victory.
