A book of evidence was served on a man who is accused of assaulting a woman in Mountmellick.
Kevin Moylan, 29, of 46 College View, Mountmellick is accused of assault causing harm and criminal damage at his address on August 19, 2022.
Garda Sergeant Casey gave evidence of serving the book on the defendant at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
Judge Andrew Cody sent the defendant forward to the current sittings of Portlaoise Circuit Court on Tuesday, February 6.
