Man accused of money laundering in Laois

The case was before Portlaoise District Court
A man appeared before Portlaoise District Court accused of money laundering in Laois.
Raphael Jaibono (21) of 34 The Glen, Kilnacourt Woods, Portarlington is accused of money laundering the sum of €2,450 at his address on a date between November 7 and 8, 2021.
Garda Sergeant Jason Hughes said the DPP had directed that the case be heard in the District Court.
Judge Andrew Cody ordered disclosure and adjourned the matter back to Portlaoise District Court on September 16 for a plea or a date for hearing.
