A man who was found in possession of knives in Laois appeared before Portlaoise District Court.
Nathan Lupayo (19) of Preston Street, Dublin 1, is accused of having two knives at Ridge Road, Portlaoise, on October 13, 2025.
Solicitor Barry Fitzgerald said his client, who appeared in court via video link, had previously entered a guilty plea. He explained that a probation report and a prison governor’s report had been requested in the case.
Judge Tom MacSharry said there didn’t appear to be a governor’s report available in court. He asked a prison officer to make a note of the fact that one had been requested in the case.
Judge MacSharry requested a governor’s report and adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on November 2.
