Essential preparatory work to pave the way for construction to commence on the new Kolbe School in Portlaoise is set to cause traffic disruption in Portlaoise.

Laois County Council has advised the public of a Temporary Traffic Management at the following location at Beladd, Portlaoise affecting the N80 Stradbally Road.

Restrictions will be in place from the junction between N80/ R945 O’Lalor Roundabout on or between the following dates & times:

August 8, 9,10, 14,15,16, 17 from 8am to 8pm each day.

The council says the restrictions and diversions are being put in place for the purpose of installing ducts on the Block Road / Stradbally Road roundabout.

The closure of part of the N80 will require traffic to be diverted along the Block Road and onto the Dublin Road to travel trough the Portlaoise.placeholder image
