It is extremely positive that emeis will be employing over 200 people in the Portlaoise area by 2025, both here and in its Kilminchy nursing home.
“I am also pleased to see the ambitious growth plans for emeis in Ireland, with the scheduled expansions in Kilkenny and Dublin, in the coming months, set to enhance vital nursing home care services in those communities, culminating in 2,700 vital jobs nationally and boosting local economies growing to 3200 by 2025,” he added.
Neal McGroarty, CEO of emeis Ireland said: “I am extremely pleased to see our state-of-the-art 101-bed nursing home already providing vital, personalised nursing and residential care services to our residents and the local community.

Our expansion plans enable us to continue to foster the highest standards of care, services and links with local communities and other stakeholders, including the HSE and acute hospitals, as we move forward. Our staff are at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to offer a workplace where they can thrive professionally while making a difference in the lives of our residents.”
