Cork Rose - Nancy Lehane My name is Nancy Lehane, and I’m honoured to be the 2025 Cork Rose. I’m 22 years old and proudly from Meelin, the highest village in Ireland. I recently completed my degree in primary school teaching. Teaching has always been part of who I am. I began teaching music to children and adults at fourteen and continued until I was seventeen. Even now, I am often teaching my four brothers how to hang clothes on the line properly — so teaching was definitely the path for me! Teaching children was always a dream of mine. Music has been a huge part of my life since the age of five. I play the guitar, piano, concertina, and tin whistle, and I love to sing. I’ve shared my music at community events and through volunteering, and I’m passionate about using it to bring joy to others. I also love sport and play Gaelic football with my local club. I enjoy the craic, teamwork, and fitness it brings. I’m so grateful and excited for the journey ahead as the 2025 Cork Rose.

Down Rose - Anna Mulholland My name is Anna, I’m 21 years old and hail from a tiny village called Ballyholland, on the outskirts of Newry, in the heart of the Mourne County. Growing up in a tight-knit community where GAA is the bond that holds us all together, my life has always revolved around sport. I play Camogie, Gaelic football and netball for my club, and have worn the Down jersey at both underage and senior level. I’m studying primary school teaching at St Mary’s University College in Belfast, where I’ve made lifelong friends, been a member of the Students' Union, and continued my love for sport. As the eldest of five, working with children has always come naturally, and I’m proud to be very involved in my community- coaching young players and working in the local community centre. Having grown up watching the Rose of Tralee, I’m incredibly honoured to represent the Mourne County in 2025 and share a piece of our vibrant heritage. The support I have received has been overwhelming, and I hope to do An Dún proud in Tralee!

Dublin Rose - Edel Cronin Beannachtaí Dé dhaoibh! Originally a chailín from Conamara, my roots also stem from Baile Átha Cliath which has me so proud to represent the county as the Dublin Rose. My career path has brought me down many a road however, I work full-time as a Judicial Assistant in the Four Courts. I’ve always strived for a career in law which is what brought me back to BÁC! I was always encouraged by my Donnybrook Nanny which has led me to obtain 3 degrees at the age of 25 and I am currently endeavouring a BL at the Honourable King's Inns. Being from Conamara has naturally blessed me as a fluent Irish speaker and I have such a Grá to be registered on the role for Irish speaking barristers in Ireland. For fun, I’ve many interests that are all things country, sea-swimming and my involvement in notable charities such as the MS Society and I’m a strong advocate for those affected by brain injuries. I’m so incredibly proud to be on the Rose journey, and I’m looking forward to the future!
