Monthly auctions in Portlaoise by Hennessy Auctioneers have seen a massive 5,000 lots go under the hammer so far this year with a 90% clearance rate achieved.
The company has provided an update on sales in the first half of 2024 with trade remaining strong for clean equipment regardless of age.
Just some of the items to go under the hammer include tractors, forklifts, diggers and a range of farm machinery; hedge cutters, ploughs, trailers and mowers.
A spokesperson for Hennessy Auctioneers said: "The photos show a sample of prices achieved this year. We will have more examples on Donedeal over the coming days."
The 2024 monthly collective auction calendar for the remainder of the year is: Saturday, 24 August - Saturday, 21 September - Saturday, 19 October - Saturday, 16 November - Saturday, 14 December Our next collective auction is Saturday 24, August at 10am.
Gates will be open for entry to the Portlaoise auction yard on Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13 & Thursday 14 August 9am to 6pm.
The spokesperson also added: "Our next collective auction is Saturday, 24 August at 10am at our Portlaoise auction yard (Eircode R32 HY05).
"Please note we recommend coming on either the Tuesday or Wednesday because Laois roads will be busy on the Thursday and Friday due to the Electric Picnic traffic especially around Portlaoise & Stradbally."
