Portlaoise roadworks extended to three months for new cycle lanes

Laois County Council plan more cycle lanes and footpaths on Mountrath Road

Roadworks on sections of the R445 Mountrath Road in Portlaoise are to be extended to the end of March.

Laois County Council issued a notice advising of Temporary Traffic Management “adjacent along the R445, Mountrath Rd , Portlaoise at Dromadoon Estate Entrance and Ashton Manor Estate Entrance” from 8am to 6pm daily until March 29.
