Public invited to view Portarlington Flood Relief plans

A third round of public consultation on flood relief for Portarlington is due to take place tomorrow afternoon.
The public consultation day is being hosted in order to gain feedback on the Preferred Flood Relief Option for the town.
Residents, businesses and all interested parties are invited to attend the Public Consultation Day where the Preferred Flood Relief Option for the community of Portarlington will be presented.
Members of the project teams from Laois County Council, the Office of Public Works, Binnies and Nicolas O’Dwyer, will all be present on the day.
All feedback received during the Public Consultation Day on Wednesday, December 13 and through the website will be used by the Project Team to finalise the development and design of the Scheme.
A questionnaire will be available on the day so people can leave feedback. The consultation will take place in Protarlington Library on Wednesday, December 13 from 2.30pm to 7.30pm.
