A probation report has been ordered on Tara Kane, Cottage House, Railway Street, Portlaoise, who committed a theft on March 20 this year at Mothercare, Timahoe Road, Portlaoise.

Judge Catherine Staines noted Kane had stolen a can of spray tan and items of children’s clothing.
The matter was put back to June 5 for a report.
