Storm Éowyn no match for Portlaoise GAA’s 'incredible grounds crew'

Work needed to be done on some of the club's pitches after the recent storm
Storm Éowyn may have left its mark across the country in January but thanks to the tireless efforts of Portlaoise GAA stalwarts, the club’s home ground at Rathleague is back in top condition.
The club posted to social media to thank the 'Rathleague Grounds Crew' for all their help in restoring the pitches.
"Thanks to Liam Breen, Sonny Keogh, Pat Loughman, Ted McCormack, and Fats Brown for their trojan efforts getting the goalposts sorted on Pitches 1, 3, and 6.
"Of course, this is just a fraction of what these lads do behind the scenes to keep our club running smoothly – they are the backbone of CLG Phort Laoise.
"Next time you're out at Rathleague, take a second to appreciate the work that goes into keeping our facilities in top condition. Legends, every one of them," the club said on social media.
