Teen accused of robbery in Portlaoise

A teenager has appeared in court accused of robbery in Portlaoise.
Jamie Kearns, 19, of 22 Cosby Avenue, Portlaoise is accused of robbery in relation to €40 cash and a set of car keys valued at €100 at Carmody Way, Fairgreen, Portlaoise on January 18 last.
Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said there are four co-accused on the charges.
Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the matter back to November 16 for service of a Book of Evidence.
