The return of the Great Heath Run

The Great Heath Run will return in 2023 after a 2-year absence and will return to its traditional slot in the calendar, the third Sunday of January, which in 2023 falls on the 15th.

There will be 5K and 10K options, both chip timed, over the usual course on quiet country roads.

This year, in a nod to the areas name, The Heath, and to highlight the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, instead of providing a medal,  all entrants who register online will be given the option of either taking home a potted heather or of having a heather planted in the club grounds.

The Heath GAA Club, R32 HF72, will be available for parking, changing rooms, toilets and showers and of course, our now famous post-race refreshments.

Online entries for chip-timed run can be completed at popupraces.ie
