Two great guided walks to enjoy in Laois this sunny weekend
With the sun to shine all weekend, there is no better place in Ireland for walks than the gentle bogs and woods of Laois and Offaly.
The Slieve Bloom Walking Club has two great walks on offer, one gentle and one for seasoned walkers, and you might even need sunscreen.
All are welcome. The fee is €5 per walk or annual membership of €20 (single) or €30 (family).
Saturday, 26th March 2022: Derryounce Lake and Bog Walk - Grade C 6k 2 hrs (Flat Walk)

Sunday, 27th March 2022: Cut Road to Catholes (Linear Walk/Bus Fare €5) - Grade A 15k 5 hrs
A Strenuous walk, walking boots or wellingtons are essential. As is a packed lunch and a drink.
