A celebration of classic cars and vintage vehicles in Laois has raised thousands of euro for vital hospice care and the work of Portlaoise Lions Club.

The Ballinakill Vintage and Classic Owners Club presented two cheques of €6650 each to Laois Hospice and the Portlaoise Lions Club in the run up to Christmas at the busy Laois Shopping centre which was the venue for the indoor motor show over the Halloween holiday weekend.

The committee regrouped after a two year Covid-19 enforced gap to organise this very popular event on Sunday October 30 which drew car enthusiasts to Laois from right around Ireland.placeholder image
