WATCH: Fields of Athenry gets Portlaoise going for Operation Transformation

The Fields of Athenry got Portlaoise people dancing and exercising in the rain for Operation Transformation.

The RTÉ show is based in Stradbally, Laois this spring and on Friday night, January 13 it was the turn of Portlaoise to take part in filming an Ad Break Challenge with fitness expert Karl Henry and Portlaoise hero Treacy Percy.

The crowds came out in their droves to Portlaoise Plaza, and they got warmed up by local fitness trainer Moez, using the classic Fields of Athenry.

Next Wednesday night, January 18 at 9.35pm on RTÉ One will show the results with viewers urged get off the couch and join in during the ad breaks.
