WATCH: Laois election candidate in Portlaoise goes AI country in search of votes

Portlaoise local election candidate Pauline Flanagan has created an election song and video ahead of June 7 polling day.

The independent candidate spoke about the song.

"I used an AI tool to create a country-type song and added in some pictures of lovely people I have met on my canvass campaign over the past four months. Given that there are 20 candidates for seven seats in my area, I’m hoping something like this might help get me over the line," said Ms Flanagan.

The video can be seen on Pauline Flanagan’s social media pages on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and tik tok.
