WATCH: Manhole overflows in Portlaoise as heavy rain hits Laois

Heavy rain that has broken the fine weather has caused drains to block in Portlaoise.

Water was flowing out of a manhole cover near Portlaoise Parish church at the Ridge Road roundabout on Wednesday, October 11.
