WATCH: New Fianna Fáil TD thanks families of all Laois General Election candidates

Newly elected Fianna Fáil TD for Laois Seán Fleming paid special thanks to his wife Mary and his wide extended family during his election acceptance speech at the Laois General Count Centre in Portlaoise where he also paid tribute to the families of all 12 candidates who contested the 2024. 

The Castletown-based TD is returning to the Dáil to serve Laois alongside Brian Stanley and Willie Aird. He is now the longest-serving Laois Dáil representative having first been elected in 1997.
