WATCH: Ripped pants didn't phase Laois escort in Rose of Tralee

A Laois teacher made it into the final for the Rose of Tralee Escort of the Year competition.

Mark Dunne, 27 from Portlaoise didn't let his lost voice or ripped pants deter him from making a big impression on the judges in Tralee.

Mark didn't win but we'll take it as a good sign.
