The ladies of Cafters for Longford Hospice Home Care have raised a whopping €2500 for the Hospice

The ladies in the Crafters for Longford Hospice Homecare group wish to thank everyone who generously supported their recent sale of work in SuperValu Ballymahon and their raffle that was held in Athena Art Gallery and Café in Longford.

€2,500 in total was raised.

On Monday, December 23 they raffled a beautiful hand crocheted Throw, created by Una Devine.

The very happy and appreciative winner was Jeanette Walton, Marian Terrace, Ballymahon.

A big thank you to the management and staff of SuperValu Ballymahon, especially Ann Marie and Pat for their co-operation, support and generosity. Also many thanks to Anna and all in Athena for facilitating the selling of the tickets for the raffle throughout November and December.

The money raised has gone directly to County Longford Hospice Homecare, a very deserving local charity.
