Speaking ahead of the event, Lakeland Vintage Club PRO Michael Lynch outlined what attendees can look forward to.

“We're celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Ferguson 20 and the 70th anniversary of the Ferguson 25, so we're encouraging people to bring along their Ferguson tractors on the day. We're going to have a section for that,” Michael explained.

He adds, “We're also encouraging younger people to come along with future classics, which would be eighties and nineties cars. Younger people are very interested in that so we're going to have a separate area for them to come."

"We’re expecting some pre-war cars too as we have quite a collection of them in the county."

"People come from all over Ireland too. The show attracts them from everywhere really. We tend to get a good turnout for that every year.”

Michael adds that people interested in bringing their vintage tractor or future classic do not need to register in advance and can simply turn up on the day.

In addition to an impressive display of vintage vehicles, there will be a variety of stalls for attendees to shop and enjoy.

The stalls will feature a range of items from auto jumble to crafts, children’s toys and much more. Live music on site is sure to draw in the crowds, while the dog show competition also promises to be an equally big attraction.placeholder image

Michael explains, “We'd encourage everyone to take part. They don't have to be professional, it’s open to all. There's also different categories for different breeds and handlers, including junior handlers. The dogs don’t have to be full bred."placeholder image
