Conor Brady Lee (CBL) revealed: "Only fifteen wrestlers from around the globe were invited, meaning it was a colossal honour for a young man from Granard to be chosen."

Longford wrestler Conor Brady Lee (CBL) described it as 'colossal honour' as he participated in the WWE SummerSlam New Jersey Tryout.

Conor has been training and performing in professional wrestling for over five years, bringing his passion for the sport to audiences both locally and internationally.

The Granard native said his trip to America was 'huge' and the 'culmination of a lot of hard work, dedication and sacrifice over the last eight years'.

While also pursuing his passion as a professional wrestler, Conor has built a dynamic career as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator and he revealed, "I attended the New Jersey Tryout among about 80 others, many coming from collegiate athletic background. Only fifteen wrestlers from around the globe were invited, meaning it was a colossal honour for a young man from Granard to be chosen."

Conor added, "As someone from such a small town I wear my roots with pride and always aim to act as an example for hard work and dream chasers!"
